In a letter to fellow committee members, Alemao stated that her queries on procedural lapses and governance issues “perturbed” the AIFF leadership, leading to heckling and harassment. She specifically named President Kalyan Chaubey, Vice President N.A. Haris, and Deputy Secretary General M. Satyanarayan as responsible for suppressing her voice.
AIFF Response
The AIFF has categorically denied the allegations, calling them baseless and aimed at tarnishing the federation’s reputation. Officials emphasized that all meetings were conducted in accordance with established procedures and that no misconduct occurred.
