Delhi is set to host its inaugural International Film Festival from March 25–31, 2026, featuring over 140 films from 47 countries. Veteran actor-politician Hema Malini will attend the event, which will also pay a special tribute to her late husband, legendary actor Dharmendra.

The festival will open at Bharat Mandapam with a ceremony hosted by Arjun Kapoor and Nimrat Kaur. A highlight of the event will be a heartfelt tribute to Dharmendra, with Hema Malini present to receive the honor on his behalf.
