NITI Aayog Approves ₹1.55 Crore Grant For RISE Centre To Empower Women Entrepreneurs

The announcement was made by NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha, who highlighted that the grant aligns with the state’s vision of “one family-one entrepreneur.” The initiative aims to empower women, particularly self-help group members, by providing training, resources, and incubation support.  

Funding Purpose  
The ₹1.55 crore grant will be utilized for skill development programs, AI-driven skills surveys, and infrastructure development at the RISE Centre. These efforts are designed to enhance employability, foster innovation, and create sustainable livelihoods in rural communities.  

Focus On Women-Led Enterprises  
A key objective of the initiative is to encourage women to become entrepreneurs. The RISE Centre has already trained over 1,000 women and helped 300 families establish businesses. With this new funding, the Centre aims to expand its reach and impact.
