The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has flagged off a massive 5,000 km Parivartan Yatra across West Bengal as part of its campaign strategy for the 2026 Assembly elections. Covering all 294 constituencies, the yatra aims to mobilize voters and strengthen grassroots connections before the polls.
Campaign Overview
Launched from nine different locations across the state, the Parivartan Yatra is designed to highlight governance issues and present BJP’s vision for change. Senior leaders including JP Nadda and Samik Bhattacharya emphasized that the initiative is a call for political transformation in West Bengal.
Route And Coverage
The yatra will traverse districts such as Siliguri, Malda, Howrah, Hooghly, and North 24 Parganas. With a target outreach to nearly 1.5 crore voters, it is one of the largest political mobilizations in the state’s history.
Culmination Rally
The campaign will conclude with a mega rally at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on March 15, 2026, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address supporters. The BJP hopes this show of strength will consolidate its position ahead of the elections.
