Foundation Stone For Additional Metro Projects
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for additional metro corridors under upcoming phases, which will further strengthen connectivity between important locations such as RK Ashram Marg, Indraprastha, Aerocity, and IGI Airport Terminal-1.
Boost To Housing And Urban Infrastructure
Alongside metro expansion, housing redevelopment projects under the General Pool Residential Accommodation scheme were also launched, aimed at modernizing government housing facilities and improving urban planning in the capital.

These large-scale infrastructure initiatives are expected to improve commuting efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainable transportation, and support the long-term development of Delhi’s urban ecosystem.
