The AI Impact Summit 2026, held in New Delhi from February 18–20, concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact, marking a historic milestone in global cooperation on artificial intelligence. The declaration, endorsed by 88 nations and international organizations, reflects India’s vision of “AI for All,” promoting accessibility, affordability, and trust in AI systems.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant highlighted that the declaration strengthens India’s position as a reliable global partner in shaping the future of AI. Guided by the principle of Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya (welfare and happiness for all), the declaration calls for democratizing AI infrastructure, driving economic growth, and ensuring social good.
The summit also secured major investment commitments, reinforcing India’s role in building energy-efficient AI ecosystems and fostering innovation across governance, science, and public services.
