The new service will debut on the Thiruvananthapuram–Kochi route by mid-March, offering passengers a luxury travel experience comparable to private operators.

Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar announced that KSRTC’s new business class buses are designed to modernize public transport and enhance passenger comfort. The initiative aims to attract commuters who often prefer private luxury buses by offering facilities similar to air travel.

Each bus will feature a toilet, pantry, and dedicated hostess service for ticket verification and passenger assistance. The design focuses on convenience and professionalism, ensuring smoother travel experiences for long-distance passengers.
Launch Route And Expansion Plans
The first rollout will be on the busy Thiruvananthapuram–Kochi corridor, one of Kerala’s most frequented routes. Based on passenger feedback, KSRTC plans to expand the service to other major routes, reinforcing its modernization strategy.
