Facing a prolonged demand slowdown in the agrochemical sector, Godrej Agrovet Limited has unveiled a strategic plan to revive growth by strengthening its crop protection business. The company is expanding its portfolio from 5–6 major crops to nearly 10, introducing new products and label expansions to meet diverse farmer needs.

One of the key launches is TAKAI, a pesticide designed for rice, maize, and other crops, offering effective protection against pests. To support these innovations, Godrej Agrovet is setting up its third manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat, which will enhance production capacity and ensure timely supply.

Industry experts believe that with a normal monsoon and rising demand for crop protection solutions, these initiatives could significantly improve farm yields and restore growth momentum for the company.
