Alongside, Jeremy Yew will assume the role of Senior Vice President (Engineering & Maintenance), overseeing day-to-day operations. Tata Group-owned Air India has announced a major reshuffle in its engineering leadership as part of its ongoing transformation strategy. Effective April 1, 2026, Sisirakanta Dash will transition into the role of Group Chief Strategy Officer – Engineering. Dash, who has extensive experience in technical and operational leadership, will focus on strengthening strategic engineering capabilities to support Air India’s fleet expansion and modernization.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Yew, currently heading the Project Management Office – Engineering, will take over as Senior Vice President (Engineering & Maintenance). He will oversee daily operations of the engineering division, ensuring efficiency and reliability across Air India’s growing fleet.
