Traffic Tamed: Bengaluru's Bold Plan to Go Signal-Free

As part of the Karnataka Budget 2025, Bengaluru's major roads will be developed into signal-free corridors to mitigate traffic jams. The move seeks to improve the flow of traffic and minimize delay. The city is also likely to get enormous investments in tunnel roads and other projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore to decongest traffic further and bolster its status as a tech destination. The proposals involve the creation of 17 new signal-free corridors along 100 km of roads.
