Raisen’s Unnat Krishi Mahotsav Launches Soil App To Empower Farmers Digitally

The three-day Unnat Krishi Mahotsav, inaugurated on April 11, 2026, at Dussehra Maidan in Raisen, brought together over 4,000 farmers to showcase modern farming practices. The event was attended by key leaders including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Digital Tools For Farmers

The Soil Mobile App was introduced to help farmers assess soil fertility from their homes. By providing real-time data on soil health, the app aims to guide farmers in choosing the right crops and fertilizers. Alongside, the E-Forms platform was launched to simplify access to agricultural schemes, subsidies, and resources, reducing dependency on intermediaries.

Seed-To-Market Ecosystem

The Mahotsav emphasized a “seed-to-market” model, offering farmers complete guidance on seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, equipment, and market linkages. This integrated approach is expected to boost farmer incomes and strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s position as a horticulture hub.

Government’s Vision

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted that the initiatives align with the state’s goal of making agriculture more sustainable and profitable. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the digital push, noting that direct benefit transfers like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi are already reaching farmers without middlemen, and these new tools will further enhance transparency.
