RBZ Jewellers Limited has informed stock exchanges that it has received Rs 1,01,82,444 as partial settlement from IFFCO-Tokio General Insurance Co. Ltd in connection with an employee fraud case. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The total quantified fraud amount stood at Rs 1,98,11,486 and was fully covered under the company’s fidelity/crime insurance policy. The insurer has assessed the claim in full and confirmed coverage as per policy terms.
