Union Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the sulphuric acid plant (SAP-III) of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) at Paradip on March 6, 2026. The new unit is part of India’s largest integrated phosphatic fertiliser complex and is expected to play a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for fertilisers, thereby supporting farmers and boosting cooperative sector initiatives.
