India’s presence at COP30’s political prelude  
At the World Leaders’ Summit held in Belém, Brazil, ahead of the COP30 Climate Conference, India was represented by Ambassador Dinesh Bhatia. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not attend, the country’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to climate responsibility and global cooperation.

• Over 140 delegations, including 57 heads of state, participated in the summit to set the political tone for COP30
