Route & Reach: The expressway will begin from Kanjle in the state of Maharashtra and terminate at Bommanal in Karnataka and traverse 12 districts, which include Pune, Satara, Sangli, Belagavi, Bagalkot, Koppal, and Tumakuru.
High-Tech Infrastructure: 55 flyovers, 22 interchanges, 14 highway crossings, two emergency airstrips, smart tolling, CCTV cameras, electronic speed cameras, and drone-based surveillance will be part of this six-to-eight-lane access-controlled road.

Project Schedule: The Detailed Project Report was approved by the two state governments in February 2025 and central clearance by mid-2025 with completion of construction by 2028.
