Project Overview

The proposal was laid before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by the state Urban Development Department.
The theme parks would be patterned on successful theme parks such as UP Darshan Park in Lucknow and Shivalaya Park in Prayagraj, which have used innovative ideas with waste materials.

Locations and Themes

Mathura: "Krishna Lok" proposed park will reflect Lord Krishna's life in various phases through wastes and scrap material
Ayodhya: Two parks will be developed—"Shri Purushottam Darshan Anubhav Kendra" and "Luv-Kush Park"—depicting the life stories of Lord Ram and his sons.

Features and Attractions

Krishna Lok Park (Mathura):

3D images and interactive models made of scrap, depicting major incidents such as Krishna's birth and his triumphs over Putana, Bakasur, and Kansa.
Light and sound shows to heighten the experience.
A theme-based children's play area, with swings and play zones designed in the form of flutes and peacocks.

Ayodhya Parks

"Purushottam Darshan Anubhav Kendra" will employ LED screens, murals, and interactive kiosks to tell the life of Lord Ram.
Luv-Kush Park will have images of Lord Ram's sons, themed amusement zones, and selfie spots with bow and arrow murals.

Sustainability and Economic Impact

The project fits into the "Waste to Wealth" campaign, converting urban waste into worthful public assets.
