Launch Date & Coverage: Vi’s 5G services go live in Bengaluru on June 11, 2025, expanding the company’s next-gen network to India’s technology capital.

Unlimited 5G Data Offer: As an introductory benefit, Vi users with 5G-enabled devices and plans starting at ₹299 will enjoy unlimited 5G data, supporting seamless streaming, gaming, video conferencing, and cloud access.

Samsung Collaboration: Vi has partnered with Samsung to deploy advanced, energy-efficient infrastructure, including AI-powered Self-Organizing Networks (SON), which automatically optimize network performance for a smoother user experience.

Green and Efficient Tech: The network features high-transmit-power, multi-technology radios and small form-factor equipment, aiming for both high performance and reduced environmental impact.

4G Network Upgrades: Alongside 5G, Vi has upgraded its 4G network in Karnataka—deploying 900 MHz spectrum on nearly 3,000 sites for better indoor coverage, doubling 2100 MHz capacity at 1,800 sites, and expanding 1800 MHz capacity at over 4,100 locations. These efforts have boosted overall network capacity by 46% since March 2024.

Strategic Vision: The Bengaluru launch is part of Vi’s larger ₹55,000 crore investment plan over three years, targeting robust digital connectivity for both urban and rural users.
