Jammu and Kashmir Government Offers Financial Relief to Victims of Pahalgam Attack
In the wake of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced an ex-gratia compensation package to support the families of the deceased and those injured. The attack, which claimed the lives of 26 individuals and left many others injured, has been condemned as a barbaric act of violence against innocent civilians.  
 
The government has pledged Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack. Additionally, Rs 2 lakh will be provided to individuals who sustained serious injuries, while those with minor injuries will receive Rs 1 lakh. Authorities have also ensured dignified transportation arrangements for the deceased and are providing the best possible medical care to the injured.  
 
This financial aid is intended as a gesture of solidarity and support, acknowledging that no amount of money can truly compensate for the loss of loved ones. The administration has emphasized its commitment to justice, vowing to bring those responsible for this heinous act to account.
