India's Renewable Energy Investment Set to Quadruple to ₹19 Lakh Crore by FY30: CRISIL
According to a recent CRISIL report, India's investment in renewable energy is projected to quadruple, reaching ₹19 lakh crore between FY25 and FY30.This significant increase underscores the nation's commitment to expanding its renewable capacity to over 550 GW by FY32, up from the current 172 GW.However, the projected investment falls short of the ₹30 lakh crore estimated by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to achieve the 500 GW renewable capacity target by 2030.The surge in investment is expected to be driven by supportive policy interventions, technological advancements, and increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
