The Delhi government plans to roll out its Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2.0 that comes with an attractive incentive to women buying electric two-wheelers. The policy offers a woman a subsidy of up to Rs 36,000, with some reports also indicating a flat subsidy of Rs 30,000 for every woman resident of Delhi. It is meant to push more women towards electric mobility and help Delhi achieve the distinction of being a model city of sustainable transportation.

Subsidy Information: Women possessing a valid driving license will be entitled to a subsidy of up to Rs 36,000 on electric two-wheelers, worked out at Rs 12,000 per kilowatt-hour (kWh). A general subsidy of Rs 30,000 is also being contemplated for all women residents.
Eligibility Criteria: The scheme can be availed by the first 10,000 women possessing valid driving licenses.
Other Incentives: All buyers of electric two-wheelers can get a general incentive of Rs 10,000 per kWh, with a limit of Rs 30,000. Another incentive of Rs 10,000 is also provided if one scrapes old petrol two-wheelers less than 12 years old.
Policy Aims: The EV Policy 2.0 envisages the eventual phase-out of fossil fuel vehicles and helping to encourage electric mobility in Delhi in line with the Centre's PM E-DRIVE program.

Login and Register: Use the credentials issued by the dealer to login to the user dashboard.
Enter Vehicle Details: Enter the EV model and purchase details.

Track Application Status: Track your application status through the portal.
