At a remand hearing, both lawyers were struggling for Shehzad's signature on a legal document and confusion prevailed regarding representation. The magistrate intervened, suggesting that both attorneys team up to defend the accused. Shehzad was taken into custody on charges of stabbing Khan in his Bandra home on January 16, 2025. The actor has been undergoing surgery and is reportedly recovering and soon to be discharged.
