Aster DM Healthcare Expands Bengaluru Presence with New Multi-Specialty Hospital

Aster DM Healthcare has announced plans to establish its fourth hospital in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to expanding healthcare infrastructure in the city. The new facility, located on Sarjapur Road, will be developed as a multi-specialty hospital with an estimated investment of 4.8 billion rupees. The project aims to address the growing demand for advanced medical care in the region, particularly as Bengaluru continues to evolve as a major urban and IT hub.  

Hospital Development and Investment Plan  
- The proposed hospital will have a capacity of approximately 430 beds, with 300 beds expected to be operational by 2027 and the remaining 130 beds by 2029.  
- Aster DM Healthcare has entered into a lease agreement with BREN Corporation and five other landowners for a composite property on Sarjapur Road.  
- The lease agreement spans 30 years, with a lock-in period of 30 years for the lessor and 12 years for the lessee.  
- The company will make an interest-free refundable security deposit of 586.5 million rupees as part of the agreement.
