India-Nepal Collaboration Strengthens Education: New School Inaugurated in Udayapur

A new school building for Shree Janata Belaka Secondary School in Udayapur, Nepal, was inaugurated on February 16, 2025. The project, funded by the Government of India with NRs 37.99 million, is part of the High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) under the Nepal-India Development Cooperation initiative. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Narayan Khadka, Member of Parliament, Prasanna Shrivastava, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy, and local officials. This collaboration aims to enhance educational infrastructure in Nepal, benefiting around 500 students, with 55% being girls. The project exemplifies the strong development partnership between India and Nepal, focusing on priority sectors like education.
