Yes Bank’s Q4 Results Spark Investor Interest Amid Recovery Signs

Yes Bank has reported a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY25, showcasing a 63.3 percent year-on-year increase in net profit, which reached Rs 738.1 crore. This marks a significant improvement from Rs 451.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The bank’s net interest income rose by 5.7 percent to Rs 2,276.3 crore, reflecting steady growth in its core lending activities.  
 
Asset quality metrics also showed positive trends, with gross non-performing assets remaining stable at 1.6 percent and net non-performing assets improving to 0.3 percent, down from 0.5 percent in the previous quarter. Provisions for the quarter stood at Rs 318.1 crore, indicating a decline from Rs 470.9 crore year-on-year.  
 
Yes Bank’s net interest margin for Q4FY25 improved to 2.5 percent, compared to 2.4 percent in Q4FY24. Non-interest income rose by 10.9 percent year-on-year, reaching Rs 1,739 crore, while operating expenses declined by 4.2 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,701 crore.  
 
The bank’s CASA ratio increased to 34.3 percent, signaling growing customer confidence and improved deposit quality. Retail and small business deposits grew by 8.3 percent year-on-year, contributing to the bank’s overall deposit growth of 6.8 percent.
