The legendary Wankhede Stadium will be the venue for the much-awaited third edition of the T20 Mumbai League, running from May 26 to June 8, 2025. The development was officially confirmed by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), assuring a cricketing festival in the heartland of Mumbai. The tournament, which has launched careers of superstars such as Shivam Dube and Tushar Deshpande in the past, has again promised to throw the spotlight on young talent.

There will be eight franchise teams this season, two new franchises among them, Mumbai Falcons and Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals, who will battle it out for the much-sought title. More than 2,800 players have registered, showing the increasing popularity and competitiveness of the league.

In a touching move, MCA will invite poorer kids and school students from schools run by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to watch games, hoping to inspire the cricketers of the future. Bringing in more star power, India captain Rohit Sharma is the official face of the season, further pushing the profile of the league.

With Wankhede's charged atmosphere and a strong lineup of hopeful talent, the third season of the T20 Mumbai League guarantees memories to last a lifetime and a celebration of the city's cricketing fervor.
