Indian Railways has declared the cancellation of the Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, effective January 16 to March 6, 2025, for a period of 50 days due to essential remodeling work at Jammu Tawi yard, affecting one of the key routes taken by pilgrims. Passengers are advised to seek alternative travel arrangements during this period. The train was popular because it was fast and comfortable. It covered approximately 655 kilometers in about 8 hours and 5 minutes.
