RPP Infra Projects Ltd has announced the acquisition of 120 acres of land adjacent to the new Chennai Airport at Parandur, approximately 60 kilometers west of Chennai. The acquisition for ₹75 crores is expected to facilitate the strategic development of the company in the field of infrastructure. The land is being registered in phases and is expected to be completed by April 2025 end.
Situated close to key global industrial giants like Samsung and Hyundai, the property has tremendous strategic importance. RPP Infra Projects is evaluating various possible development opportunities for this property, including logistics parks, warehouses, and data centers, that are aligned with the company's long-term strategic vision.
The news comes after a robust financial performance by RPP Infra Projects. In Q3 FY25, the company posted a consolidated net profit growth of 17.1 percent at ₹18.87 crores versus ₹16.11 crores in Q3 FY24. Revenue from operations rose by 9 percent year-on-year at ₹355.10 crores for the period ending December 2024.
