Spice, Spirit & Second Acts: Chandigarh’s 62-Year-Old ‘Chaat Star’ Dishes Out Inspiration

A touching video of a 62-year-old Chandigarh woman who operates her own street food stall has gone viral, inspiring thousands online. Two months ago, she opened her stall offering popular Indian street foods like dahi bhalla, golgappa, aloo tikki, and chole bhature. A food vlogger caught her preparing dahi puri, in which she boldly read out her menu smiling on her face.

A housewife turned old, she insisted, "I have been cooking food for 50 years. Why should I consider my age? You can learn any hobby at any age." The video has been viewed nearly 3 lakh times on Instagram, with people admiring her perseverance and positivity. Some of the comments include, "Massive respect for aunty ji, may God bless her," and "Aunty ji has a sweet and divine aura."

Her story is a sweet reminder that dreams and passion are ageless.
