In a nail-biting IPL encounter, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) successfully chased down 167 set by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with just three balls to spare, finishing at 168/5 in 19.3 overs. Shivam Dube emerged as the hero for CSK, smashing an unbeaten 43 off 37 balls under pressure to anchor the chase.
CSK's innings began steadily with Shaik Rasheed contributing a brisk 27 off 19 balls. Rachin Ravindra followed up with a solid 37 off 22 balls, but wickets fell at regular intervals, leaving CSK in a precarious position. Earlier, LSG had posted 166/7 in their allotted overs, thanks to contributions from Nicholas Pooran and others. CSK’s bowlers, led by Noor Ahmad (4-0-13-0), kept the target within reach.
