Senate Democrats accuse Elon Musk employed his role on Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to escape $2.37 billion in fines on 65+ federal investigations into Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink. Tesla was revealed to be exposed for $1.19B on Autopilot lawsuits, and Neuralink for $281M on product deception and $1.59M under the Animal Welfare Act, a 44-page memo claims.

The White House labeled the allegations "completely false and defamatory," asserting Musk never employed his office for personal gain. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) has demanded that Musk's companies be transparent, seeking information on federal investigations and conflict-of-interest safeguards.
