SBEC Sugar Ltd has entered into an agreement with Priyadarshini Polysacks Limited to avail unsecured financial assistance amounting to ₹50 million (₹5 crore). The agreement, executed on April 14, 2025, aims to bolster SBEC Sugar’s working capital requirements as the company navigates its ongoing operations.
 
According to official disclosures, the loan is unsecured, with no collateral or security provided by SBEC Sugar, and is scheduled for repayment by November 1, 2025. The transaction does not involve any related party interests, nor does it confer any special rights such as board appointments or share subscription privileges to Priyadarshini Polysacks. The two companies do not share any promoter or group company relationships, and the transaction is conducted strictly at arm’s length.
 
SBEC Sugar clarified that the agreement is purely for financial assistance and does not entail any change in capital structure or potential conflicts of interest. The company’s board and compliance officer have confirmed that all regulatory requirements under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements have been duly met.
 
This infusion of funds is expected to help SBEC Sugar manage its liquidity and operational needs in the near term, supporting its ongoing business activities.
