Korean cultural-inspired lifestyle brand Uni Seoul from Pune raised seed funding of Rs 5 crore from Sauce VC, with a contribution from Panthera Peak Ventures, co-founders of Mokobara, and Yogesh Kabra of XYXX. Established in 2023 by Gaurav Karmani and Mohit Khurana, the company retails fashion-forward, price-friendly products in the home, fashion, and gift categories.

With four profitable offline stores in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Nashik, the funding will fuel expansion into Tier 1 cities, product diversification, and supply chain optimization. “We’re building a brand that brings joy through everyday products,” said CEO Khurana.

Sauce VC's Manu Chandra noted Uni Seoul's capacity to bottle Asia's design-led, impulse-driven retailing success. The investment is in line with Sauce VC's approach to backing early-stage consumer disruptors, after the recent final close of its $43M fund
