Sacred Steps Await: Your VIP Access to Kailash Mansarovar 2025 – Deadlines, Detours, and Divine Dreams

The Ministry of External Affairs has reopened the registration for the sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (30 June–22 August 2025) on kmy.gov.in. Pilgrims will be selected by a random, gender-balanced lottery for two passes:
 
Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand): 5 batches of 50 pilgrims.
 
Nathu La Pass (Sikkim): 10 batches of 50 pilgrims.

Application deadline: Not specified; apply early (passport valid until 1 September 2025 required).
 
Cost: ₹2–5 lakh (private tours via Nepal) vs. MEA-subsidized rates (fee not disclosed).
 
Itinerary: 22-day journey from Delhi, traversing Dharchula/Gangtok and Tibet's Taklakot.
