Nectar Lifesciences Ltd has met a major regulatory feat with its Unit II at Saidpura being certified for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by ANVISA, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency. The GMP certificate, dated April 28, 2025, will be valid for two years, reflecting the company's adherence to high standards of quality and global compliance.

This ANVISA GMP accreditation is a reflection of Nectar Lifesciences' strong quality management systems and capacity to comply with stringent international pharmaceutical requirements. The Saidpura plant, which is one of Nectar's large manufacturing hubs, is dedicated to the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and sterile cephalosporin products for both domestic and international markets.

The certification further consolidates Nectar Lifesciences' presence in Latin America, especially Brazil, and enhances its reputation as a trusted supplier to regulated markets globally. Management pointed out that this milestone will help the company expand its presence in major export markets and build new business prospects with multinational players.

With a history of innovation, operational excellence, and a strong emphasis on environmental and health safety, Nectar Lifesciences continues to strengthen its position as a top player in the Indian and international pharmaceutical sector.
