Mumbai Rail Alert: Overnight Power Block to Affect Diva-Mumbra Train Services

The Central Railway has announced an overnight power and traffic block between Diva and Mumbra stations from April 20 to April 22, 2025. The disruption is scheduled to facilitate the launch of a rail section conversion project, impacting train operations during late-night hours.

The block will be in effect from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM on the nights of April 20/21 (Sunday/Monday) and April 22/23 (Tuesday/Wednesday). Several mail and express trains will be regulated during this period, causing temporary delays.

Key Highlights:

Train number 15181 Mau-LTT Mumbai Express will be regulated on the 6th line at Diva from 3:05 AM to 3:30 AM.
Train number 11020 Banaras-CSMT Express will be regulated at Kalyan from 3:00 AM to 3:15 AM.
On April 22/23, train number 12102 Shalimar-LTT Mumbai Express will be regulated on the 6th line at Diva from 3:05 AM to 3:30 AM.
Some UP mail trains will run on the 6th line between Diva and Thane during the block period.

Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check for updates from railway authorities. The Central Railway has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and assured that the project aims to enhance rail infrastructure for improved service efficiency.
