New Delhi gets ready for Milipol India 2025 (April 23–25), the premier homeland security conference endorsed by India's Home Ministry and France's Interior Ministry. Over 150 suppliers from 10+ nations, including the U.S., UAE, and the Netherlands, will showcase AI-driven surveillance, cybersecurity, and drone defense solutions.
French Minister Delegate Francois-Noel Buffet and GIGN Commander Ghislain Rety will chair the meeting, stressing increasing Indo-French cooperation. Discussion will include megacity defense, cybercrime, and borders, using France's experience at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Forums at the state level will deliberate on pressing topics, including port security and forensic innovation, apart from developing public-private partnership. "This is a testament to India and France's common political will to tackle changing threats," Civipol CEO Prefect Jounot said.
Why it matters: The summit accelerates international security interoperability, combining India's warfighting heft with leading-edge technology from global leaders.
