Mahindra Logistics Ltd. reported its consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY24, revealing a mixed performance as revenue growth was offset by widening losses. The company posted a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,451 crore for Q4 FY24, marking a robust 14% year-on-year increase, driven by strong momentum in its 3PL supply chain and mobility segments. However, the quarter ended with a net loss of ₹12.85 crore, compared to a loss of ₹0.82 crore in the same period last year, reflecting ongoing challenges in core business volumes and rising operational costs.
Key Highlights:
-
Q4 FY24 consolidated revenue stood at ₹1,451 crore, up 14% YoY, supported by growth in automotive, engineering, and consumer sectors.
-
The company’s EBITDA for the quarter dropped 11% to ₹57 crore, with EBITDA margins narrowing to 3.9% from 5.1% last year.
-
Net loss widened to ₹12.85 crore in Q4, primarily due to subdued demand in key manufacturing sectors and increased employee and operating expenses.
For the full fiscal year, Mahindra Logistics reported a 7.4% rise in revenue to ₹5,506 crore, but posted a consolidated net loss of ₹54.7 crore, reversing a profit of ₹26.3 crore in FY23.
The supply chain management business contributed ₹1,372 crore in Q4, while enterprise mobility services added ₹76 crore.
The company declared a dividend of ₹2.50 per share for shareholders.
Strategic initiatives included expanding warehouse space to 20 million sq. ft., launching Community Centers of Excellence, and increasing stake in Zip Zap Logistics to strengthen last-mile delivery capabilities.
Mahindra Logistics’ leadership remains optimistic, citing positive volume recovery and continued growth in 3PL and mobility, but acknowledges that cost optimization and demand revival are critical for a return to profitability.
