India’s Ports of Bhavnagar and Bedi Witness Dynamic Activity

The ports of Bhavnagar and Bedi in Gujarat are experiencing significant operational activity, reflecting their strategic importance in India’s maritime trade. Bhavnagar Port, located in the Gulf of Cambay, has seen a steady flow of vessels, with seven ships arriving in the past 24 hours and four more expected in the next 30 days. The port handles a diverse range of cargo, including rock phosphate, coal, fertilizers, scrap, and timber, while exporting oil cakes, salt, onions, and clay.  

 

Bedi Port, situated near Jamnagar, continues to play a vital role in facilitating bulk cargo operations. Known for its efficient handling of petroleum products, chemicals, and fertilizers, the port is a key hub for industrial supply chains in the region.
