Coca-Cola India saw robust sales growth in Q1 2025, driven by the grand Maha Kumbh festival in Prayagraj. The brand's entire marketing onslaught-including over 1,400 mobile points, hundreds of refreshment zones, and a record-breaking 100-door cooler wall-logged over 180 million servings during the event, a new company record. This visibility presence, complemented by one-of-a-kind Maha Kumbh-edition packaging and experiential experiences like selfie points and 3-D projections, fueled double-digit volume growth for flagship brands Coca-Cola and Thums Up in India.
Besides sales, Coca-Cola's link with local distributors and SLMG Beverages facilitated small businesses, created jobs, and empowered women entrepreneurs, solidifying its grass-root distribution network. The scale and strategic deployment of the festival strengthened India as a strong growth driver for Coca-Cola's global business in 2025.
