Go Digit’s Q4 FY25 Profit Soars 2.2X to ₹116 Crore as Premiums Hit Record High

Go Digit General Insurance reported a 118.9% YoY surge in Q4 FY25 net profit to ₹116 crore, up from ₹53 crore, driven by strong premium growth and investment income. Gross written premium (GWP) rose 10.3% YoY to ₹2,576 crore, with motor insurance dominating at ₹1,373 crore. For FY25, profit after tax more than doubled to ₹425 crore, while GWP crossed ₹10,282 crore, marking a 14% annual growth.
 
Key metrics:
 
Solvency ratio strengthened to 2.24x, well above the 1.5x regulatory requirement.
 
Assets under management (AUM) grew 25% YoY to ₹19,703 crore.
 
Combined ratio (claims + expenses vs. premiums) rose slightly to 111.3% in Q4, reflecting higher claims of ₹1,353 crore.
 
The Bengaluru-based insurtech firm, backed by Prem Watsa’s Fairfax, also expanded its digital footprint, with 48.2% of policies issued via APIs.
