The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) still wants Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, an Indian national wanted in connection with the 2015 murder of his wife, Palak Patel, in Hanover, Maryland. Patel is a member of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, and information leading to his arrest could get a reward up to $250,000 or approximately ₹2.1 crore.
On January 15, 2025, the FBI renewed its call for public help, stating that Patel was "armed and extremely dangerous."
Patel supposedly murdered his wife while working their night shift in a doughnut shop. He fled the area immediately after the crime.
This ongoing case has underscored the FBI's efforts in catching fugitives and providing justice for the victims of violent crimes.
