Dine with Rhinos: Hyderabad Zoo's Exclusive 'Rhino Food Court' Brings Wildlife Near Visitors

Hyderabad's Nehru Zoological Park launched a unique dining experience where the visitors could have a meal while rhinos freely moved about in their enclosures. RM Dobriyal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, launched the new 'Rhino Food Court' as part of an initiative to upgrade zoo amenities and design immersive experiences for wildlife fans.

✅ Unique Experience: Being situated next to the Rhinoceros enclosure, the food court provides a direct view of the animals, thus making dining a unique experience. ✅ High Seating Capacity: It has enough capacity to seat more than 300 visitors and serves a range of snacks, meals, drinks, and desserts, which makes it ideal for tourists and families. ✅ Public-Private Partnership: Constructed by Mrugavani Restaurants and Resorts India Pvt Ltd, the facility has been leased for 10 years, thus providing long-term operating support. ✅ Zoo Revamp Initiatives: This complex forms part of Hyderabad Zoo's larger initiatives to upgrade visitor facilities, such as improved seating space, educational displays, and conservation activities. ✅ Promoting Wildlife Awareness: The project is designed to raise public awareness about conservation efforts, fostering a better appreciation of threatened species such as the Indian rhinoceros.

 

The Rhino Food Court combines culinary arts with wildlife appreciation, providing tourists with an unprecedented method of dining amidst nature.
