ction Alert! Simmba 2 and Sooryavanshi 2 Officially in the Works from Rohit Shetty

Director Rohit Shetty officially announced sequels of Ranveer Singh-starrer Simmba and Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi, indicating going further with his blockbuster Cop Universe franchise. On podcast Gamechangers, Shetty declared plans of going ahead with such high-octane action epics with new characters and ones to be recalled to the franchise too, going further to forecast more films and spin-offs like Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff.

The Cop Universe, begun with Singham (2011), brings together a number of police dramas in one universe, leading to ensemble films like Singham Again (2024). Shetty is keen to have a sprawling franchise with interconnecting tales of justice, action, and camaraderie, entertaining audiences with edge-of-the-seat narration and starry ensembles.

The audience can await with bated breath Simmba 2 and Sooryavanshi 2 while Rohit Shetty continues to raise the bar of the Cop Universe.
