Create in India, WOW the World”: PM Modi’s WAVES 2025 Puts Youth at the Heart of Entertainment Revolution

During an address to the nation while attending the 15th Rozgar Mela just now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the World aAudio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 is going to have youth creators at its heart - and it will take place in Mumbai. He said this to the nation through video conference after handing over more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited government employees. PM Modi stated that the youth are the foundation of India’s fast-tracked development and global visibility.
 
Referring to the government’s continuous focus on empowering young Indians, Modi said, "Mumbai is going to be hosting the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, and this is going to be youth at the heart of it, providing young creators a platform for the first time." He called WAVES 2025 an incredible opportunity for young innovators in media, gaming, and entertainment to have their talents exhibited on a world stage.
 
The Prime Minister also emphasized women’s empowerment and inclusivity when it comes to nation-building, mentioning contributions of Indian women in fields like bureaucracy, science, and space. Additionally, he reiterated the commitment of the government to generate further employment paths and self-employment for youth, and to include every section of society in the country’s progress.
 
WAVES 2025, which is taking place in May in Mumbai, is expected to showcase young creators from across the country and offer them a platform to be a part of their global audience to display their skills and innovations. Modi called on the youth to participants, to take the opportunity, and their endeavor, generosity, and creativity will play a key role in shaping the new India.
