Colors of Joy: South Asian Student Association and SPA Come Together for Colorful Holi Celebration
The campus was filled with life this weekend as the South Asian Student Association (SASA) and the Student Programming Association (SPA) collaborated to organize a breathtaking Holi celebration, uniting students of all backgrounds in a festival of colors, music, and togetherness. The event at Cedar Grove Park attracted a jubilant crowd who indulged in the aura of happiness and victory that is characteristic of Holi.

Students threw colorful powders, danced to high-energy Bollywood rhythms, and snacked on South Asian treats, filling the air with an atmosphere of unadulterated celebration. Organizers highlighted the event as a way to bridge cultures, as students laughed and shared stories while celebrating the arrival of spring.

"Such an initiative really reflects the spirit of Holi—shattering constraints and bringing people together," stated a SASA representative. This was mirrored by the SPA, which emphasized that cultural interaction and diversity on campus were what mattered.

The large attendance and celebratory atmosphere alluded to how successful the event was, and everyone looked forward to next year's celebration. As hues dissolved, the theme of unity and happiness remained, attesting to the strength of community.
