Coforge Ltd has announced the divestment of its entire stake in AdvantageGo, its commercial insurance software subsidiary, to Sapiens International Corporation for a base consideration of £43 million. The transaction, structured as a cash deal, is expected to close within the next four to six weeks, pending customary conditions. This move comes as Coforge sharpens its strategic focus, while Sapiens, a global leader in insurance software, significantly strengthens its presence in the London Specialty Market and global property & casualty (P&C) sector.

AdvantageGo specializes in advanced underwriting workbench and risk management solutions for commercial insurers, particularly within the complex London and global markets. The acquisition will see AdvantageGo’s innovative technology integrated into Sapiens’ core P&C insurance platform, enhancing its value proposition for insurers handling specialty and commercial lines across EMEA, APAC, and North America.

For the full year 2024, AdvantageGo reported revenues of £15 million, with about 50% from recurring sources, though it posted a loss of £9 million due to strategic investments in product development. Sapiens expects AdvantageGo to return to double-digit growth by 2026 and become accretive to profits from 2027, leveraging integration synergies and expanded market reach.

This transaction underscores Coforge’s commitment to portfolio optimization and Sapiens’ ambition to lead in next-generation insurance technology worldwide.
