Young opener Ayush Mhatre stood out with a fiery 30 off 19 balls, striking at an impressive 157.89, while Dewald Brevis provided the much-needed momentum in the middle order, smashing 42 off just 25 balls.

Despite a promising start, regular fall of wickets kept CSK from accelerating, with players like Sam Curran (9) and Shivam Dube (12) unable to convert their starts. Deepak Hooda added some stability with a gritty 22, but the tail collapsed quickly towards the end.

For the bowling side, Harshal Patel shined with figures of 4-0-28-4, dismantling the middle and lower order with precision. Pat Cummins was economical too, conceding just 21 runs in his four overs and taking two important wickets. Mohammed Shami and Jaydev Unadkat also contributed with crucial breakthroughs.
