CG Power Enters Fiscal Support Agreement for Semiconductor OSAT Facility

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited has entered into a Fiscal Support Agreement with the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and CG Semi Private Limited to establish an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in India. Under the Modified Scheme for setting up Compound Semiconductors, the Government of India has approved subsidies and fiscal support up to ₹3,501 crores. This strategic move will bolster India’s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, aligning with the nation’s ambition for self-reliance in high-tech industries. The project will focus on semiconductor assembly, testing, and packaging for a wide range of applications.
