Celebrating SG60 with AIA: A Year of Well-Being, Wellness, and Winning Together

AIA Singapore launched an extensive portfolio of programs to mark Singapore's 60th birthday, emphasizing integral well-being across physical, mental, and financial well-being. The initiatives fall in line with the national SG60 theme of "Building Our Singapore Together" and are based on empowering the community and community-based support structures.

Key Highlights:

Mental Health Expansion: AIA's Think Well initiative, provided to corporate policyholders via its partnership with WhiteCoat, now features text-based counseling and teleconsultations. The service has recorded a fivefold rise in utilization, highlighting demand for affordable mental healthcare.

Workplace Wellbeing: The WorkWell with AIA program integrates four pillars-Think Well, Feel Well, Live Well, and Plan Well-to provide well-being solutions to employees on all aspects. It features advanced pediatric care and inpatient services going to people at the workplace, enabling the "sandwich generation" juggling work and caregiving.

Community Outreach: AIA is holding an SG60-themed lucky draw offering 60 prizes such as KrisFlyer miles for equivalent business-class airfares to encourage people to take up wellness activities.

Corporate Responsibility: As a champion partner of the WorkWell Leaders Programme, AIA promotes board-level prioritization of mental health in the workplace, with strategic rather than HR-led initiatives.

Historical Precedent: The National Day initiative last year-providing 15,000 Singaporeans with free critical illness coverage-demonstrates AIA's focus on filling protection gaps, which is an area of emphasis for SG60.
