India will make a strong impression at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025 by sending its brightest young minds to compete on the world's largest creative stage. Through a highly competitive selection process, the under-30 Young Lions competition winners from India—selected for their energy and innovative thinking—will be sent to France between June 16 and 20 to represent the country. This year's teams, who were winners in both Print and the newly-added Digital categories, were individually selected by an illustrious panel of industry captains who lauded their thinking laterally, craftsmanship, and capability to appeal to Gen Z.
The Print-winning team of Punya Arora and Yugant Gosavi of Ogilvy, who wowed judges by turning the notion of digital filters on their head into a fearless campaign for genuine self-expression, did exactly that. Their pieces were infused with humor and cultural nuance and impressed through their newness and conversational value. As these cubs-in-residence get set to compete with the best in the world, hopes run high that they will bring home new laurels and depict the changing face of Indian creativity.
As India's creative skills gain international attention, everyone waits with bated breath for this young brigade to roar at Cannes.
